The announcement comes in as a breath of fresh air as the construction equipment industry is looking for a booster to get revived in the country. Chndra also demanded the assistance of private sector to help the body in achieving their goal which means the project will be come in as a joint venture between the government & private sector. He said “We want the private sector to partner us to achieve this target. It is a stupendous job and private partnership is critical. We want private sector assistance not only for funding but also to bring in new technology and innovation in design and also their competency in management of these roads”
Various initiatives by the new government are helping revive the used construction equipment industry like the Make in India initiatives, identifying & construction of new highway roads. Currently there are nearly 14-15 projects where there are still some differences and we are confident of resolving them or take some decision where we can help them in any possible way.
