Eicher introduces light and medium duty trucks

Catering to the evolving mid-premium market segment, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has introduced the Eicher Pro 1000 and Eicher Pro 3000 series of its light and medium duty trucks in Ahmedabad. This market mainly demands vehicles with comfort, high power, durability and other enhanced features at economical price.  With these trucks, the company aims at various market segments in distribution, industrial loads, haulage, courier, perishables and construction. If we take a look at the JV between Volvo Group and Eicher behind this launch, the combination compliments each other a lot as Volvo already has an expertise in understanding truck customers' need globally and Eicher will experience growth and consolidation in commercial vehicle market through the Eicher Pro range.
